Winter observation of the Greenfinch

First winter observation of European Greenfinch in Novosibirsk. A flock of 8 birds was found on the 1st of January in the alley of Prunus maackii. Later, the flock was regulary seen at the same place. For pictures see observation of this species on 05/01/2016 in Koltsovo village.
Previously, Greenfinches were observed in the winter time in Tomsk region (to the north from Novosibirsk region) in January of 2015 and in Altai Krai (to the south fron Novsibirsk region) in 2015.
